Hello! Today is my first post based on my life. Every morning I wake up to go to swim practice with my team, CFST. Yesterday, I had just finished swimming a meet. I always love going to meets. In my next post I will write about my experience in Cut Bank. It was NOT the ordinary. Anyway, when I arrived, our dry land coach made us do some stretches to warm up before going to the pool.
We swam our regular warm up, our coach trained us and then I exited the pool. On the way, I picked up Briceida and my ribbons from the meet yesterday. As usual, I watched Briceida swim her practice. Briceida swims her practice later than me. After that, our father picked us up from practice. As we were driving home, I noticed some fire trucks on the empty land right across from our house. When I looked closer, I saw fire fighters watering the grass.
Huh? I told my father and sister about it. My father said that most likely there was a fire when we were gone in the morning. My mother was working and my grandparents were the only ones inside the house. I was starting to worry because a fire never passed through our town. My father, Briceida, and I were greeted at the door by my grandparents. They were excited to see our ribbons from the meet in Cut Bank.
Briceida did well in the meet! She had a ninth place in the 25 butterfly (One lap of the pool). We also got our ribbons from Shelby, another meet from the past where we did not get our ribbons. In the 50 freestyle Briceida placed 10th and in the 25 butterfly she placed fifth. Of course, all of these events were in the Girls 8 & Under, because she is seven. I am in the 9-10 group, even though I am 11. My birthday, which lands on May 13, is after January 1st. What age you are depends on the age you were by January 1st. I was 10 by that time.
I do not think Cut Bank was my best meet. I added a lot of time, making me slower. I got first in the 50 butterfly, first in the 100 freestyle, and third in the 50 freestyle. In Shelby, I got first in the 50 butterfly, ninth in the 50 freestyle, third in the 100 freestyle, and 11th in the 50 backstroke.
I think that covers it for today. My mother came home from work, and my father left to work. Right now she is cooking dinner for us. Tonight I am going to watch the local news to see if there really was a fire where I thought it would be. Thank you for reading my posts! See ya later!

Welome to My Life...
I'm just a young girl, looking to blog my life, for my audience, and myself. I've always loved to write, and one day hope to become an author. I know it's a huge goal, but I am determined to reach it. This is going to be really short, because my fingers can't wait to start typing out my current life! I am 11 years old, and although I am young (considering myself to adults) I believe I am mature enough to start a blog. In my family, I have my parents and a younger sister. My father is Juan, and my mother is Nalda. Briceida, my younger sister, is only seven years old. I also have pets. Three cats and a dog. Yep. I'm a cat lover. Of course, I also love my dog, but I've always had a better side with cats. In order from oldest from youngest, my cats are Sassy, Dulce, and Duchess. My dog is Harley.
All of my family came from Peru, a Spanish-speaking country. My parents came here to the United States and gave birth to Briceida and me. Sometimes my mother misses her family in Peru. Currently, my grandparents are visiting the us, which makes my mother really happy. My parents speak Spanish most of the time at home, but outside they speak fine English. I can write, read and understand Spanish, but have some trouble speaking Spanish. My parents encourage me to keep trying to speak their native language. I try, but I have to admit, sometimes I don't want to learn.
That was a small introduction of me, and I hope you liked it. I guess my blogging life will begin now. Thank you for reading this!
